New Hampshire state senators plan to introduce a bill that would allow injured workers to obtain a second independent medical exam from a doctor of their choosing if they’re dissatisfied with the results of the first exam, which is performed by doctor chosen by their employer or its insurance company.
Senate Bill 352 will be sponsored by Sens. Rebecca McBeath, D-Portsmouth; Herbert Richardson, R-Lancaster; and Donna Soucy, D-Manchester, when it is officially introduced Jan. 3.
