Court Revives Worker's Claims for Negligence, Violation of Labor Law

A New York appellate court revived a worker’s claims for negligence and violation of the Labor Law against an alleged general contractor for his injuries. Case: Soller v. Dahan, No. 2017-09199, 06/05/2019, published. Facts: Lindon Soller was a mechanic at an automobile repair shop. Isaac Dahan was his supervisor. According to Soller, Dahan would occasionally direct employees to do minor work at a newly constructed building he owned.
