Amendments Seek to Clarify Conditions for Suspending Providers, Staying Liens

The head of the California Assembly Insurance Committee wants to eliminate any doubt as to whether lawmakers intended to require the suspension of executives such as former Pacific Hospital of Long Beach owner Michael D. Drobot following a conviction for certain crimes.
