The Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission (WCC) announced that, effective Aug. 22, claimants' Social Security numbers are required to view claims documents and search for First Reports of Injury.WCC said in a regulatory notice that the Social Security number must be valid. No wildcard option can be used in the Social Security number field.The requirement only affects document-viewing services.
