Foundry Has 'Written Unfortunate Legacy' of Amputations

Four workers lost limbs at General Aluminum Manufacturing between 2013 and 2015, and a fifth has joined their ranks.  The Ohio steel foundry "has written an unfortunate legacy" of violating machine safety standards, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration said.  Most recently, a machine used to produce aluminum parts crushed a 53-year-old worker's left hand.
