The Montana State Fund saw both its policyholder surplus and net earned premium fall last year, according to the carrier’s 2018 annual report, released Tuesday.
Montana State Fund reports net premiums earned of $161.3 million for 2018, compared to $166.8 million in 2017.
The carrier reports incurred losses fell to $117.1 million from $119.2 million, while incurred loss expenses increased to $21.4 million from $19.7 million.
