The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division on Monday announced that the maximum amount employers can pay to an insurer as reimbursement for medical costs without having the costs included in the employer’s experience rating will increase to $1,800 from $1,700 for 2013.The maximum amount a business can pay to a carrier for an accepted, non-disabling injury occurring on or after Jan. 1, 2013, is $100 more than was allowed in 2011 and 2012.Before the start of each policy year, carriers are required to send businesses a notice advising of the right to reimburse insurer-paid medical cost...
