Oregon's Management-Labor Advisory Committee will meet on Feb. 22 to discuss a bill that would create an alternative mechanism to cover liabilities of self-insured employers modeled after a program used in California.House Bill 2634 would create the Self-Insurer Security Fund as a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation that would allow employers to collectively secure their liabilities.
