The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation will enact changes Nov. 30 to its rules on mediation/hearing procedures.
Under response to hearing requests, the party opposing a request for expedited hearing must submit all documents, including affidavits, no later than 10 business days before the hearing, instead of five days.
The new rule also requires the opposing party to explain in writing why the relief should be not granted, and to list its witnesses or face the exclusion of witnesses and evidence.
