A retired electrician for the Long Island Railroad pleaded guilty on Tuesday to federal charges of conspiracy and perjury in connection with an ongoing investigation of workers who filed false disability claims to supplement their early retirement.U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said in a news release that Gary Satin, 63, is one of 22 railroad retirees charged in an ongoing  investigation of a scheme that allowed railroad workers to retire by age 50 with enhanced benefits.Bharara said workers for the commuter railway must wait until they reach 65 to retire with full benefits.
