The Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Commission took steps toward carrying out a smaller provision from the reform bill enacted last month by opening the bidding process to select a company that will advise it on biennial changes to the medical fee schedule.
The commission already considers changes to the fee schedule every two years, but House Bill 2367 takes it one step further and requires the commission hire a consultant to do the job.
