Business groups say they are holding private conversations with Pennsylvania state lawmakers on a legislative remedy to a state Supreme Court decision that blocks impairment rating evaluations. The so-called Protz ruling removed what defense attorneys say is a powerful tool to cap employers’ exposure on long-term workers’ compensation claims.
