The Division of Workers’ Compensation has notified stakeholders that the state average weekly wage used to determine maximum workers’ compensation benefits is $879.06 for the fiscal year that begins Saturday.
That’s an increase over fiscal 2016 of 1.3%.
The maximum weekly benefits for temporary total and permanent total disability will be $923.01; permanent partial disability will be $483.48; and the death benefit will be $923.01 — all representing a 1.3% increase over the prior year.
