California Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones praised the governor’s decision to veto Assembly Bill 1922, saying in a statement Thursday that the bill was bad for employers of all sizes.
The measure, authored by Assemblyman Tom Daly, D-Anaheim, would have allowed insurance companies to wait until after they issue ancillary policy documents to file with the department, if certain conditions were met.
