Adjusted Payroll Requirement for Seasonal Workers Goes Up 2.08%

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation has determined that the adjusted annual payroll requirement of an employer has increased by 2.08% over last year, Commissioner Ryan Brannan announced in a release. The annual payroll requirement increased to $54,229, more than $1,000 greater than last year’s figure of $53,124. The payroll requirement figure is based on the inflation rate calculated by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
