A former airport security officer has pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining nearly $40,000 in federal workers’ compensation benefits.
Richard A. Mariani, 76, of West Dennis, was sentenced to six months of probation and ordered to pay $38,052 in restitution to the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Massachusetts said in a press release.
