The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has proposed a rules change that would give regulators more flexibility over the peer review process for medical impairment ratings, and also announced a change to a form.
The bureau periodically reviews impairment rating reports to make sure they are accurate, compete and clear. Reviewers may recommend that the rating physician reconsider his or her report.
