Neighborings States Take Two Roads to Physician Fee Schedules

Neighboring western states are calculating physician fee schedules for workers’ compensation claims in considerably different ways; one choosing to modernize its calculation system, the other holding on to its traditional method of assessment. Montana has just issued a legislatively mandated fee schedule for private practices, dentists, and other physical and mental health care workers (including licensed addiction counselors) taken from the Resource Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS).
