A Southern California man pleaded guilty to workers’ compensation fraud for failing to report income he was earning as a self-employed contractor while receiving benefits for an industrial injury.
Charles Ruben, 66, pleaded guilty to a felony count of making a fraudulent statement of material fact for the purpose of obtaining workers’ compensation benefits, the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office announced.
