A woman continued to collect death benefits as she misled Ohio's workers' compensation agency over her status as a full-time student, a court has heard.
Rachel Madison, of Bedford, pleaded guilty in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas to one count of workers' compensation fraud and was sentenced to six months in prison and suspended for five years of community control or probation.
As part of her probation, she must pay $12,319 in restitution.
