Male workers between the ages of 20 and 39 are most likely to miss work because of neck pain, according to a study of Ontario claimants.The study analyzed the prevalence of neck pain in a population consisting of Ontario claimants who missed work in 1998.“The annual incidence of neck pain among the Ontario working population ranged from six per 10,000 full-time equivalents to 23 per 10,000 full-time equivalents,” the researchers determined.
