Chemical Manufacturer Cited for Worker's Death

The U.S.Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a chemical manufacturer based in Greeley after an employee died due to lack of oxygen while cleaning the inside of a railcar. EnviroTech Services Inc. faces $64,857 in proposed penalties in connection with the citations. The company has held an informal conference with OSHA’s area director to try to reach an informal settlement agreement, the agency said.
