Washington Extends Comment Period on Heat-Related Illness Rule

The Washington Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) announced Tuesday that it has extended the period in which written comments may be submitted on a proposed workplace rule to protect workers from heat-related illnesses.The comment period has been extended to 5 p.m. Friday, May 9. L&I said extended the deadline because of an increase in the number of comments received over the past two weeks.
