ProAssurance Funds Academic Research on Physician Wellness

ProAssurance Corp. has announced the establishment of an endowed chair for physician wellness at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The initial $1.5 million gift to the UAB School of Medicine will endow an academic chair, the first of its kind in the U.S., the company said.
