A postal worker accused of racing motorcycles while collecting almost $94,000 in workers’ comp benefits is scheduled to go to trial Aug. 27 in U.S. District Court in Dayton.
Jerry French, 40, is facing one count of false statements or fraud to obtain federal employees’ compensation benefits, WHIO-TV in in Dayton reported. The court granted a motion by French’s attorney to continue the trial date from May 29.
