Nebraska's high court has signed off on changes to a rule governing the procedures for filing workers' compensation appeals.
The Supreme Court last week approved a change to the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court's Rule 15: Records Checked Out. The change allows attorneys to check out bills of exceptions — statements from trial judges to appellate courts listing the objections made during a trial — for two weeks.
