A Lorain County man who received workers' compensation while working as a temporary employee at several businesses has been ordered to repay more than $20,000, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation said.
Kevin Gruver pleaded guilty March 16 in Franklin County Court to a first-degree misdemeanor count of workers’ compensation fraud, the bureau said in a news release. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, suspended for two years of community control under the conditions that he maintain employment.
