The long-awaited 6th Edition of the American Medical Association (AMA) Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment left the publisher's warehouse en route to doctors, insurance companies, claims adjusters, regulators and a variety of other stakeholders in the workers' compensation system Thursday.AMA spokeswoman Katherine M. Hatwell said the new guides should reach buyers early next week.
