Oral Arguments Kick Off in NFL Concussion Litigation

Oral arguments kicked off Tuesday on the consolidated claims of some 3,870 current and former professional football players against the National Football League for concussion-related injuries. Former U.S. Solicitor General Paul Clement appeared on behalf of the league, while David Frederick, a former Assistant Solicitor General, argued for the plaintiffs in In Re: National Football League Players’ Concussion Injury Litigation, MDL Docket No. 2323, in District Judge Anita B.
