The Missouri Department of Insurance is recommending a 4.6% decrease in loss costs in 2017, in contrast with the 3.7% cut suggested by the National Council on Compensation Insurance.
Gov. Jay Nixon announced the department's recommendation in a press release last week. Nixon noted that it is the third decrease in as many years, with a cumulative reduction of 9.8%.
