Louisiana lawmakers have approved the use of medical marijuana for an expanded list of medical conditions, but left injured workers out of the party.
House Bill 579 appeared to be dead going into the final days of the regular session last week. And a Senate amendment to the bill would have removed the workers' compensation exclusion. But that was restored, and the bill passed the House on Friday.
