With just months remaining before the state's second-injury fund becomes insolvent, lawmakers are taking baby steps toward resolving the crisis.
State Rep. Chris Kannady, R-Oklahoma City, has made a formal request with the speaker of the House to form a study committee in the legislative offseason to examine solutions to the fund's growing tally of unfunded liabilities, said Rep. Mike Osburn.
