Variations in Surgery Rates Focus of Webinar

A webinar discussing the geographic variations in surgery rates, organized by the Workers Compensation Research Institute, is to take place next month. It will be led by the WCRI Executive Director Dr. John Ruser and Dr. Jon Lurie of The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. Ruser will discuss the findings of the institute's study of the different reasons why it is more likely a worker underwent back surgery in one area over another.
