Employers in Oregon next year will be able to pay up to $2,100 per claim for medical costs to avoid loss what otherwise would be applied against their experience modification.
The Oregon Division of Workers’ Compensation on Tuesday announced the maximum employer reimbursement for medical-only claims would increase, to $2,100 per claim starting Jan. 1, from $2,000.
Insurers are required to send policyholders and prospective policyholders a notice of their right to reimburse medical costs on accepted, nondisabling claims.
