The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation will accept public comments on whether changes are needed to the rules that govern everything from general procedures at the division to self-insurance and second injuries.
The division, like most state agencies, is required by law to re-examine its regulations every four years. This summer, it will review Chapters 102, 104, 109, 110, 112, 114 and 116 of the Texas Administrative Code. Those chapters cover most procedures and other compensation rules, including comp coverage for state employees, notices of coverage and scope of liability.
