The Delaware Office of Workers' Compensation advised Wednesday that the cost of prescriptions for injured workers is capped at 100% of the average wholesale price (AWP).Donna Forrest, medical component manager for OWC, said she received a question about the prices charged for prescriptions when they are dispensed in a physician's office instead of a pharmacy.Forrest said Delaware Administrative Code 1341, Section 4.13, specifies that the reimbursement for pharmacy services is capped at 100% of the AWP or the actual charge, whichever is less.
