An advisory committee that is working with state regulators to implement a workers’ compensation reform bill has scheduled a meeting in Frankfort on Aug. 30, and signaled that it is nearing an end to its deliberations on at least one issue.
The Workers’ Compensation Regulatory Advisory Committee will discuss a draft regulation that addresses a provision of House Bill 2 that cuts off medical benefits after 15 years, but allows claimants to apply for an extension.
