WCIRB Submits 2017 Regulatory Filing

The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau on Tuesday submitted to the California Department of Insurance its 2017 regulatory filing, which includes a recommendation to revise the definition of medical-only claims and proposes changes to the experience rating plan. The filing recommends that the definition of medical-only claims in the Uniform Statistical Rating Plan be revised to clarify all claims for which medical care is provided must be reported.
