The owner of a Queens trucking company and one of his employees have been charged with falsifying documents that allegedly led to more than $216,000 in workers’ compensation fraud against the New York State Insurance Fund, the state’s largest workers’ comp insurer says.
The Queens District Attorney’s Office charged John Constanza, president of Stanza Trucking Inc., with fraudulent practices in violation of the Workers’ Compensation Law and offering a false instrument for filing, both felonies, NYSIF says.
