WCB Reports Provider Suspension, Voluntary Resignation

One medical provider has voluntarily resigned his authorization to treat injured workers within the New York workers’ comp system, and another has been temporarily suspended, the state Workers’ Compensation Board announced. Dr. Amit Virender Khaneja resigned his authorizations to treat injured workers and to perform independent medical examinations, effective Aug. 2. His last known practice was Westchester Medical Practice, 1978 Crompond Road in Cortlandt Manor, New York.
