Chiropractors Bent Out of Shape Over Proposed Designated Doctor Rules

Chiropractors across Texas are up in arms and accusing the Division of Workers' Compensation of trying to drive them out of the system because of proposed amendments to designated doctor rules. Of the 145 written comments the agency received in response to its informal working draft, 124 — or 85.5% — were from chiropractors, according to records obtained by WorkCompCentral through the state’s Public Information Act.
