The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed nearly $213,000 in penalties for a Florida roofing contractor that exposed workers to dangerous falls and other hazards.
Carlson Enterprises in Jacksonville has been cited six times since 2012, OSHA said in a press release.
OSHA issued two willful, one serious and one other-than-serious violation Sept. 22. The willful citations say the company failed to provide workers with a fall-protection system when working at heights up to 9 feet and not making workers wear eye protection when using nail guns.
