Veteran Commission Counsel Named Insurance Commissioner

Scott A. White, a longtime counsel for the State Corporation Commission, will become Virginia’s 14th insurance commissioner Jan. 1, when he succeeds the retiring Jacqueline K. Cunningham. The State Corporation Commission appointed White following his 18 years of service in various capacities since 1999.
