DWC Adopts Adjustments to Ambulance Fee Schedule

The administrative director of the California Division of Workers' Compensation adopted an order incorporating into the Official Medical Fee Schedule revised ambulance reimbursement rates adopted by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The new rates apply to services provided on or after Jan. 15. The order adopts the calendar year 2016 Public Use file adopted by CMS on Dec. 22, and the CMS Zip Code Files revised Nov. 17.
