Commission Proposes Tweaks to General and Procedural Rules

The Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission is proposing to update its general and procedural rules for the first time in five years “to maintain the efficiency” of the agency. Many of the proposed amendments are under Rule 1.7, which deals with self-insurers. Individual self-insurers would be required to file actuarial reports every three years, while group self-insurers would be required to continue to submit the reports annually, the proposed rules state.
