The board of directors for Montana State Fund on Friday approved an 8.6% rate reduction for policies taking effect on or after July 1.
The carrier said in a statement after Friday’s vote that rates have remained flat or declined for 13 consecutive years. The rate taking effect in July is 43% lower than rates in 2011, the state-chartered carrier added.
