Some Kentucky businesses could be facing significant increases in workers' compensation premiums because of the change in split points adopted by the National Council on Compensation Insurance, according to BusinessLexington.The business journal said NCCI adjusts the calculation of its experience modification factor, or X-Mod, to account for accident frequency and severity.
