James J. Szablewicz, chief deputy commissioner of the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission, has been named president of the National Association of Workers’ Compensation Judiciary, the commission announced Thursday.
Szabelwicz was installed during the NAWCJ's annual conference held Aug. 19-22 in Orlando, Florida. He replaces Jennifer Hopens, a hearings director for the Texas Division of Workers' Compensation.
