The Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is proposing several changes to its outpatient drug formulary, Rule 4123-6-21.3.
Among the medications proposed for deletion from the formulary on Oct. 1 are all forms of alprazolam, fluoxetine tablets, Opana ER, Pexeva (paroxetine mesylate) and menthol 5% pads, and methyl salicylate liquid.
Proposed formulary additions are Onfi (clobazam), all anti-diabetic medications, oral inhalation respiratory medications, Entresto, Xiidra and several over-the-counter topical analgesics.
