Office Publishes Companion Guide to Electronic Bill Reporting

The Louisiana Office of Workers' Compensation has published a "companion guide" to electronic reporting to help providers, carriers and employers comply with electronic medical bill filing requirements.Larry White, spokesman for the office, told WorkCompCentral Friday that the electronic filing requirements were promulgated in 2011 and become mandatory on July 1 this year.The guide provides technical information needed by workers' compensation system participants, and identifies information to be reported, White said.The guide is posted in the Feb. 20, 2013 edition of the Louisiana Reg...
